Zoe is a Registered Counselling Therapist - Candidate, located in Nova Scotia. She has a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology from the University of Calgary and a Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Prior to her career as a counselling therapist, Zoe spent 12 years as a performance coach, working in a partnership to help others achieve their individual goals. Zoe has learned how important it is to foster a strong relationship that puts the client's voice at the forefront of our collaborative journey. She strongly believes each client has untapped strengths within themselves that will begin to blossom during the therapeutic experience.
As integrative therapist, Zoe pulls from several evidence-based modalities to create a treatment experience that is unique to each client. Zoe leans into approaches grounded in mindfulness, attachment theory, strengths-based interventions and self-compassion. All clients can expect to be welcomed into a safe, non-judgemental and trauma-informed space for every session. Zoe invites clients with all scopes of mental health challenges, but specifically provides support for clients experiencing grief & loss, clients who have experienced trauma or PTSD and clients struggling with self-worth or self-esteem.
