Rachel is a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate living in Nova Scotia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and History from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

Before becoming a counselling therapist, Rachel had worked in customer service for over ten years, and brings those skills to the counselling space. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to feel seen, heard and valued. Rachel works with those navigating life challenges, grief, chronic pain, life changes, self-esteem and communication issues in relationships.

Rachel's approach to therapy involves a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach to ensure each client feels seen. She pulls from various therapeutic modalities, including narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and somatic components to create a unique plan for each client. Rachel is an LGBTQ+ therapist and strives to have an inclusive space where clients can be their authentic selves.

Navigating life challenges can be overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. Rachel encourages new clients who resonate with her approach to reach out and see how we can work together to help achieve your goals.
